Pima County Libertarian Party Blog Policy

Content Guidelines:

Pima County Libertarian Party Blog entries need to be about issues that directly affect citizens within Pima County. Blog entries must discuss issues using libertarian arguments and solutions. 1,000 words maximum including title (please be concise). Entries will conform to the Code of Ethics.

Blogger Code of Ethics:

    1. I will tell the truth.
    2. I will write deliberately and with accuracy.
    3. I will acknowledge and correct mistakes promptly.
    4. I will preserve the original post, using notations to show where I have made changes so as to maintain the integrity of my publishing.
    5. I will not delete comments unless they are spam or off-topic, obscene, or defamatory.
    6. I will reply to comments when appropriate.
    7. I will strive for high quality with every post – including basic spellchecking and grammar.
    8. I will stay on topic.
    9. I will disagreewith other opinions respectfully.
    10. I will link to online references and original source materials directly.
    11. I will disclose conflicts of interest.

How to become a Blogger for the Pima Libertarian Party:

Each Blogger will be asked to go thorough a vetting process. The process will include a review of each entry by a designated member of the Pima County Libertarian Party. The party member will review, ask for corrections if needed, approve and then post the entry. Once you’ve had 3 approved posts, you will be given direct posting rights to the Blog.

If you wish to ask an expert to comment or write a piece for the Blog, please submit their entry for review and approval before posting.

Note: Violation of the Code of Ethics will be discussed and may result in suspension as an approved Blogger.
